Zvonok Translator is a live interpreting assistant for a German tax consultancy.
It interprets between Russian and German during a conversation, shows the
consultant a written hint drawn from the consultancy's own knowledge base, and
keeps a written record of the conversation.
The app is a tool for a human professional. It does not replace the consultant,
does not give tax advice on its own behalf, and does not speak to a client
without a consultant present.
The app is intended for the consultancy that installed it and for its staff. It
is distributed as an unlisted Zoom app: it is not offered to the general
public through the Zoom App Marketplace and can only be added via a direct link.
AI interpreter is in use and that the conversation is being documented.
knowledge of its participants.
Speech recognition, translation and speech synthesis are automated and can be
wrong, especially with names, figures, dates and legal terms. The consultant is
responsible for verifying anything that matters. The app is provided without any
warranty that a translation is complete or correct, and it must not be used as
the sole basis for a legally binding statement.
Use of the app inside Zoom is additionally subject to Zoom's own terms and to
the settings of the meeting host. If a host or account administrator forbids
external applications, the interpreter will not join, and that decision is
respected.
The app runs on the consultancy's own computer and depends on third-party
services (speech recognition, translation, speech synthesis, telephony, Zoom).
No uptime is guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to intent and gross
negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under
German law.
You may remove the app at any time in Zoom (Settings → Apps → remove). The
stored Zoom authorization is deleted automatically when Zoom reports the
removal.
German law applies.
